Students of the International Faculty participate in the TNUT Student Scientific Research Conference

On the morning of July 30, 7, at the University of Technology and Industry - Thai Nguyen University, the first English-language university-level student scientific conference took place. Attending the seminar were Prof. Herman Horst Puta and Ms. Martina Barth from llmenau University of Technology, Germany. On the side of the school, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Nhu Khoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council, Dr. Do Trung Hai – Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Pi - Vice Rector of the University, Assoc. Student at University of Industrial Technology - Thai Nguyen University.

International students participated in the Seminar with research papers related to various fields, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and English language. The specific studies are as follows:

– Research on the scheme selection for the lifting table structure with the largest lifting weight and the shortest lifting time using TOPSIS method

– Studying the influence of the main machining parameters and the wear of the cutting tools on the damage to the machined surface in the milling process of CFRP composite materials.

– New design of multi-function CNC machine.

– Zigbee communication technology for wireless sensor networks

– Researching IoT systems to monitor the operation of environmental treatment systems of small and medium-sized companies in industrial parks.

– Survey on difficulties in reading comprehension skills of first-year students majoring in English at the International Faculty

– Difficulties and solutions to improve translation ability for language major students

The scientific research conference in English by TNUT students took place successfully. The results of the seminar not only confirmed the scientific research capacity but also confirmed the students' ability to use English in studying and researching in the University in general, and in the International Faculty in particular. This is a successful start for the University's organization of scientific research seminars in English in the near future.
